Meet Dr. Adrienne Barnes

Dr. Adrienne Barnes is a certified pediatric dental specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her mission is to serve families and young children, and give them a positive experience while maintaining their oral health.

A native of Chicago, Dr. Barnes earned her Bachelor of Science at Bradley University. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC. After returning home, she completed her certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Chicago.

Dr. Barnes is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Barnes goes to all her society meeting continuing education classes. This keeps her current on the newest techniques in dentistry and allows for the most up-to-date treatment for her patients

Dr. Barnes gives back to the community through charities that include the Salvation Army and the Greater Chicago Food Depository, as well as her local church. In 2012, she served as a spokesperson for Delta Dental’s Dentist by 1 program.

Dr. Barnes is currently working to perfect her knitting skills and learning French as a second language. She is married with two grown children and has a Golden Doodle “grand-dog” named Sophie.
